2018 Bat Guidelines

  • Shetland: (Ages 4-6) You may use either a 2 1/4" or a 2 5/8" barrel diameter with a maximum allowed length of 33 inches. The length to weight ratio must be between -5 to -12 and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification is required. 
  • Pinto: (Ages 7-8) You may use either a 2 1/4" or 2 5/8" barrel diameter with a maximum allowed length of 33 inches. The length to weight ratio must be between -5 to -12 and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification is required. 
  • Mustang: (Ages 9-10) You may use either a 2 1/4" or 2 5/8" barrel diameter with a maximum allowed length of 33 inches. The length to weight ratio must be between -5 to -12 and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification is required. 
  • Bronco: (Ages 11-12) You may use either a 2 1/4" or 2 5/8" barrel diameter with a maximum allowed length of 33 inches. The length to weight ratio must be between -5 to -12 and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification is required. 
  • Pony: (Ages 13-14) You may use either a 2 1/4" or 2 5/8" barrel diameter with a maximum allowed length of 33 inches. The length to weight ratio must be between -5 to -12 and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification is required.
